Minipresso is a Hong Kong-based startup, creating small, light, and convenient handheld espresso machines for its clients. Unlike other portable espresso machines, it doesn’t need cartridges or electricity. It is recommended for people who are traveling, students with limited space, or workers who do not have time to go to the coffee dispenser.
Hugo Cailleton, founder of Wacaco and master degree’s holder in industrial design, has been involved many years in the manufacturing of home espresso machine prior to initiate the development of the Minipresso. The idea of the portable espresso machine, allowing users to pull their own drink on the go, crossed his mind during a business trip after having been disappointed by a poor espresso shot in a hotel.
Minipresso is crafted with reinforced materials to withstand shocks. It is based in Hong Kong, China.
