About the Company
MetGen develops and produces enzymes tailored to industrial customer needs. MetZymes are enzymes belonging to the class of multicopper oxidases. These enzymes are involved in several oxidative functions and particularly in delignification.
MetGen have created biological enzymes that can be added into the pulp mix to separate wood fibres more
effectively before the thermo-mechanical pulping stage, radically improving the energy efficiency of the whole pulp-making process.
