MedRegis Electronic Health Record (EHR) is a digital solution that allows doctor offices and clinics to create digital medical records instead of writing physical medical records. We want to eradicate the inefficiencies of paper-based medical records in developing regions such as the Caribbean. The focus is to continuously develop a solution that
seamlessly integrates into doctors, nurses, and their front office staff professional lives the same way other digital solutions (Instagram, TikTok) integrate into their personal lives. According to the research from Stanford Medicine conducted with The Harris Poll, nearly three out of four primary care physicians think that improving EHR interfaces would best address EHR challenges, one of which is physician burnout. We have a moral responsibility to the Caribbean's medical community not to replicate these issues, which have impacted healthcare within the US. This mindset meant the initial focus would be less on profit and more on creating an effective solution with the collaboration of the regional medical community. Creating the most efficient solution also means seeking partnerships with other health technology solutions with a global impact, and MedRegis partnered with global telemedicine leaders, Doxy.me. We integrated telemedicine into our solutions to assist doctors and nurses and developed a strategy for them to improve their healthcare delivery. Additionally, this partnership allows us to offer telehealth (including telemedicine and telepharmacy) as a standalone solution to Ministries of Health regionally to improve healthcare in rural and underserved communities.
