About the Company
May & Brett Ltd. was founded in 1935 by the late Basil May and Hubert Brett. We are Nigel and Julian May, the third generation of May's to run the store. Our Father Douglas, who has now retired, worked in the shop with his father and Uncle after qualifying as a Professional Printer at the London College of Printing. We are a Department
store in the busy market town of Great Dunmow in Essex, home of the ancient Flitch Trials.
