Matcha powder is traditionally consumed as part of a tea ceremony, but ceremonial grade matcha is expensive and requires extra equipment and effort to prepare. Matcha Maiden wanted matcha to be affordable and
accessible, so her Mix N Matcha can not only be prepared without a whisk to enjoy as a tea, but also makes a very versatile daily superfood!
It all began with a simple love for matcha sparked when founders Nic Davidson and Sarah Holloway first experienced the ancient matcha tea ceremony in Japan. On returning to Australia to find the miracles of matcha largely undiscovered, Matcha Maiden made it her mission to spread the matcha magic. After much research and taste-testing, she sourced her Japanese-certified organic Mix N Matcha from the world renowned lush rolling fields of Kyoto, Japan.
