Manolin is an aquaculture data intelligence company. Its platforms, Watershed and Harpoon, help salmon farms and aquaculture suppliers work with complex, fragmented production data by connecting fish health, treatment, mortality, environmental, feed, and population-history records across sites.
Watershed serves fish farms. It links cage- and
population-level data through population tracing, which keeps fish history connected as populations move through grading, transfer, and regrouping. The platform includes risk forecasting for disease and sea lice pressure, benchmarking across generations and sites, harvest forecasting, and sea lice treatment planning. Its modeling engine covers growth, quality, mortality, salmon prices, and farm-specific clustering.
Harpoon serves aquaculture suppliers. It gives feed, health product, and equipment companies access to field-level performance data so they can evaluate how their products perform across different farm conditions, populations, and treatment histories.
Both platforms draw from the Manolin Network, which consolidates biological, environmental, and operational data and normalizes it for cross-farm comparison. Population tracing is central to the data architecture: because fish move across cages and sites throughout their production cycle, site-level records alone produce unreliable comparisons. Manolin traces fish groups through those movements so performance analysis reflects actual production history.
Founded in 2018 and a graduate of the HATCH aquaculture accelerator, Manolin is headquartered in Bergen, Norway.
