Lusoconnectionuk is a community interest organization that supports Portuguese-speaking communities with practical assistance and inclusive activities. It provides translation and interpreting, welfare benefits guidance, DBS application help, and general form and document support to address language and administrative barriers. The organization
runs programmes such as dance and fitness, basketball sessions, guitar and ukulele lessons, and family cooking workshops that combine social connection with wellbeing. It also delivers early years and children’s activities, including Roots & Rhythms sessions and baby and toddler groups that promote bilingual learning and development. Through events like the CPLP Summer Breeze Festival and other cultural initiatives, Lusoconnectionuk creates spaces where families can engage with local services, maintain linguistic and cultural ties, and build supportive networks.
