Loimeleer is a non-profit organization that operates Estonian language and cultural immersion camps for children, youth and families. The organization focuses on connecting young Estonians living abroad and multicultural families with Estonian life, language and traditions. Its main activities are multi-day summer camps where participants practice
Estonian through everyday interaction rather than formal classroom lessons. Camp programs include handicrafts, traditional songs, dances, games, folklore instruments, smoke sauna visits, nature excursions and other shared activities. Loimeleer also runs a family camp format that allows younger children to join day activities while staying with their parents or grandparents. Camp instructors are youth work students and alumni who guide learning through practical experiences and peer socializing. Through these camps, Loimeleer supports language development, cultural awareness and community-building among Estonian-origin youth worldwide.
