With this information, the application can deliver specific content, based on the proximity of the user to a specific point. Linkmyplace is an IOT solution based on a web platform (www.linkmyplace.com) and a mobile application for smartphones and tablets ( https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.cvf.Linkmyplace ).

The web platform is intended to allow the entities that use the service to perform all the necessary configurations so that their site and contents are displayed to the users at the appropriate time.

Entities may configure one or more sites / content and associate / condition their presentation to users of the mobile application depending on user’s location. Thus, it is possible not only to associate the display of a content with a GPS position, but also by proximity to electronic devices, such as cellular network antennas of mobile phone operators, Wi-Fi access points, Bluetooth devices and Bluetooth LTE devices (low-power devices). This possibility is also important for redundancy in the availability of the contents to the user (eg: The user has the GPS of his mobile phone turned off, but has one of the other means connected).

The application also allows to establish some rules of how to react when the user moves from one point to another, for example the contents to be displayed change as the user moves within a city or for example inside a museum. Or just inform the entity that the user has passed that point, as this is important in cases where you want to study the most used routes.

Entities also have an option in the mobile application, to help in the configuration on the platform. This option detects the unique identifiers of available devices in a location, that the entity will use for configuration. This option is accessed in the mobile application by entering a security code, assigned to each entity.

For the general users of the mobile application, its use is extremely intuitive and easy to use, having these 3 modes of visualization of available places, namely:

My favorite places – Places that the user tagged as favorites, regardless of his actual proximity to them.

My near places – Locations available in proximity to user location.

All places – All existing locations, regardless of user location, allowing searches on them.

The user can place any location in the favorites, to have access to them regardless of his future location. Clicking on the location he wants he is directed from there to the contents of that location, which can change as he moves, depending on the parameterization established for that location. The content displayed can be of any nature (text, audio, video, forms, etc.) and the user can interact with them.
