Learning for Humanity develops eLearning platforms and technology solutions that support schools and learners in low-resource settings. The organization designs and operates Tusitawi, a competency-based digital learning ecosystem that delivers curricula-aligned lessons, literacy and numeracy modules, and more than tens of thousands of teacher and
student resources. It provides low-power, durable computer and networking equipment, school-wide WiFi, and offline-capable systems to enable digital learning where internet and grid power are unreliable. Learning for Humanity works with ministries of education, NGOs, school networks, and community programs to implement classroom and at-home digital learning. It also offers ongoing teacher training and capacity-building focused on integrating Tusitawi into teaching practice and supporting competency-based education. Its programs are used across primary and secondary grades, as well as alternative and recuperation schools for out-of-school youth.
