Le Cicogne [EN: “The Storks”] aims to become the first company in Italy to break down the trust barriers between parents and babysitters. Le Cicogne mobile app matches demand and supply for childcare services as baby sitting, baby & teen taxi, baby & teen tutoring and baby party. Le Cicogne gives young people, between the age of 18 and 30, the opportunity to find a flexible job while studying. Aspiring baby sitters must register and create a profile. Before being accepted, they are vetted and interviewed online by the customer care. Families, on the other hand, can post their needs online for free and choose among all the babysitters that have applied to their job offers, comparing their experiences and feedbacks given by previous parents. In addition, through the app, babysitters calculate the hours worked with the families and their precise salary, which is directly credited to their accounts.
