A continuation of the Oklahoma operations of the highly
successful VentureSpur accelerator, founded in 2011, LaunchOklahoma was announced in early 2014 as an accelerator focused on building and growing the startup economy of Oklahoma.
The accelerator is modeled on successful accelerators throughout the US that have pioneered a new way of developing fast-growth, high-tech startups through active mentorship, a purpose-driven education and development program, and culminating in a “Pitch Day” during which entrepreneurial teams have an opportunity to showcase their business in front of leading venture capital and angel investors from throughout the region and country.
LaunchOklahoma is a sister accelerator to VentureSpur Texas, based in Dallas.
