The US federal government is the world's largest customer spending approximately over $6.6 trillion annually. Based on the USA Spending website, in FY 2018 alone the US Federal Government spent over $4.4T on grants and fixed charges and $893B on contractual services and suppliers! Just to compare the entire venture capital industry in the US invested approximately $60B in the US in 2018.
Yet, less than 1% of all the 30+ million businesses in the US ever registered to do business with the US federal government!
