Today Izhevsk Electromechanical Plant "Kupol" is a part of Concern of East Kazakhstan "Almaz-Antey" and is one of the leading enterprises of the national defense complex. The main specialization of the enterprise is the production of short-range anti-aircraft missile systems Tor-M2. The plant also manufactures on-board equipment for surface-to-air missiles, upgrades the Osa-AKM and Tor-M1 missile systems, and provides service to operating organizations.
