Knickerbocker Capital oversees Knickerbocker Capital, LP, an open-ended fund that invests in decentralised web companies and digital assets. David is a seasoned investor and executive with more than 30 years of experience investing in and building internet and software businesses in the United States and China. In 2010, he founded 2020 Ventures
with personal funds. Following the success of private investments in LinkedIn, Facebook, and Spotify, 2020 Ventures, LP was formed in 2014, with $10 million in invested capital. In 2018, the fund began to shift its emphasis from Web 2 to Web 3 investments, and in 2020, it relocated from San Francisco to New York as Knickerbocker Capital, LP. From 2002 to 2007, David lived in Beijing, China, where he worked in the non-profit sector and invested.
