Company Performance Metrics
Kiron Interactive was founded in 2001 in Johannesburg South Africa by private and institutional investors. The company was established as a developer and operator of a virtual horse racing skill game (Turfmaster) for the internet.
Turfmaster, using patented technology, was developed to replicate the Sport of Kings in a virtual world and bring
the thrills of race horse ownership to an online audience of horse racing enthusiasts. Two proprietary websites were launched in 2001 namely Digiturf.com and Raceclubs.com. The success of the game prompted a number of high profile online operators, including Ladbrokes and AttheRaces to integrate the game on a white label basis on their websites.
In 2007 Kiron established a new virtual gaming division whose focus is the development of a variety of virtual sports betting and gaming products for the gaming and hospitality industries both online and for deployment in retail venues.
