KINTEX (Korea International Exhibition Center) is Korea's largest and newest international exhibition and convention venue as well as a joint investment among KOTRA, Gyeonggi provincial government and Goyang city, which was purpose-built to resolve the issues of event space shortage in Korea and to internationalize Korea's exhibition
industry.
'KINTEX 1(the 1st venue was openeildt ack in April, 2005 with the total indoor exhibition area of 53,541 rfir comprised of 5 exhibition halls. The venue serves as a wonderful place to stage the shows of heavy and large exhibits(Stons/ mi or various types of events and meetings. 'KINTEX 1' also has about 3,000rrf site for outdoor events and exhibitions and 23 dividable meeting and conference rooms including a multi-functional grand-ballroom for 2,000 people.
