Something that is a stain or smirch to some could be an art to someone else. Kalankit™ is our attempt to bring the latter half to its rightful place in society and thereon, to establish a balance to an unbiased duality that exists in almost everything in nature.
Kala, i.e., art, + Ankit, i,e., impression = Kalankit Kalankit is a combination of
two words, Kalā is a Sanskrit word which means, “a skilled craft” and Ankit is also a Sanskrit word which means, “Imprint” or “Stamped”
More than just an impression, Kalankit™ exists to give new extensions to people on how they see art or just anything that is different. It exists in dimensions where it is home to every artist there is, in the world. It exists to make your world a beautiful place. Because your world is by the people you love; the place you commute to work; the things you own; the things you carry; and the home you live in. We believe that's a big enough space to renovate.
Since who could do it better than an artist friend, right?
So, what we did is, we brought them all together to build a space where they could do what they do best, i.e., art, while we produce it using the highest quality materials and ship it to the consumer.
Thereby, artists profit from the royalty earned per unit sale of their artwork, without giving up control of their rights! And the consumer gets that art in their bags, apparel, home decors, wall arts, tabletops and many more.
