ron Switch is a digital asset recovery protocol designed to solve the "Lost Key" problem in modern estate planning.
As assets move from traditional bank accounts to decentralized ledgers and encrypted vaults, traditional wills are no longer sufficient. If a user passes away without sharing their private keys or master passwords, those
assets are permanently lost.
Iron Switch functions as an automated "Dead Man's Switch." It monitors user activity through multi-channel check-ins (Email, SMS, or Web). If a user fails to check in for a pre-set duration (indicating incapacitation or death), the platform automatically releases a secure "Vault" of information to designated beneficiaries.
The Security Difference: Zero-Knowledge Architecture Unlike traditional legacy platforms that store user data on central servers (custodial storage), Iron Switch is built on a Zero-Knowledge encryption model.
All data is encrypted Client-Side (on the user's device) before it ever touches Iron Switch servers.
The decryption keys are split and never stored fully by Iron Switch.
This ensures that Iron Switch cannot read, access, or subpoena user data, guaranteeing total privacy even in the event of a server breach.
Primary Use Cases:
Cryptocurrency Recovery: Ensuring heirs receive seed phrases and private keys without exposing them to third-party custodians.
Password Management: Transferring master passwords for 1Password/LastPass/Bitwarden.
Personal Continuity: Delivering final letters, instructions, or sensitive documents that should only be revealed post-mortem.
Iron Switch bridges the gap between legal ownership (probate) and technical access (encryption), ensuring that digital sovereignty does not result in permanent asset loss.
