The services include the gut health analysis, personalized nutrition recommendations, personalized food diary recommendations, personalised supplement recommendations, personalized food recipe platforms (where the food recipe ingredients are tailored to the output of the gut microbiome test). Furthermore, InnerBuddies has developed specific modules for different types of topics and medical indications (like Longevity, Endurance Sport, Muscle Sport, Obesity, Diabetes Type-2 and many others are being rolled-out).

History

InnerBuddies was founded in October 2021 in the Netherlands as a spin-off from the University of Maastricht. The company was established by Koen Venema, a professor at Maastricht University. It has a multi-functional team with expertise in Microbiology, Dieticians and Artificial Intelligence / ICT.
