Information lab operates at the shifting intersection of art, science, technology, and design. Since 2004 Informationlab founders Auke Touwslager (NL) and Ursula Lavrencic (SLO) have seen their efforts being adopted and appreciated by different fields and audiences. As a result, their work found its way to the international art community and to
science museums and galleries around the world.
The company received the 2011 Public Art Network’s Year In Review Award (USA). Commissioned by Telus Science World (CAN), Hill Country Science Mill (USA), The Pittsburgh Cultural Trust (USA), and La Panacée (FR).
It was founded in 2004 and is located in Komen, Komen Commune, Slovenia.
