Immutouch is a wearable band that vibrates every time your hand nearly touches your face to avoid contracting viruses such as COVID-19.
The device uses a gravimeter and a personalized algorithm to track any hazardous gestures, with the goal of encouraging healthier habits. The band can be calibrated for the user's own movements and desired
sensitivity. A phone can be paired with up to two bands for setup, but bands continue to function phone-free without a Bluetooth connection. The phone paired with the device can also record each touch, allowing the user to track progress over time.
It was co-founded by Joseph Toles, Justin Ith, and Matthew Toles in Seattle, Washington.
