I‐UM is a leading online
social dating service in Korea. Its purpose is to serve a huge and yet niche market, between a matchmaking services that focuses heavily on marriage and online services that calls for too light a relationship like one night stands through craigslist.
I-UM mainly targets smart singles who are in their 20s and 30s, giving them a chance to meet new people outside of their existing social networks and cliques from work and school. To do this I-UM introduces each user with one suitable match a day, keeping everyone excited about their new destined match every day. The more data they accumulate, the more ideal match can be made.
