HotelOverbooking is the first system that was created to facilitate and automatize the process of “walking” hotel guests due to overbooked rooms.
HotelOverbooking provides hotels with a platform where they can find and sell their overbooked hotel rooms to other hotels matching a search criteria. In reverse, hotels can help other hotels in the
same area by bidding on hotel rooms that are overbooked - increasing the occupancy and revenue at the same time.
How it works:
1. Your hotel is overbooked and you need to relocate rooms.
2. Create a relocation request with search criteria such as minimum hotel star and guest rating, area, room type and targeted price.
3. All hotels that match your criteria will receive an automated email with the offer.
4. Hotels matching your criteria can now accept your targeted price, or give their counteroffer. It is in your hands if you accept it or not. The hotels will remain anonymous until you accept an offer.
5. After you accepted the offer you will receive all details of the hotel where you will relocate your guests.
That’s it – no fees for your hotel (the hotel winning the bid pays a commission to HotelOverbooking)
