Hivelight is a legal operations platform that gives law firms a single, real-time view across tasks, matters, and team members. Founded in 2022, the platform was originally built inside a law firm by co-founder Ash Kelso to solve operational problems at his family's practice.
The platform covers task management, matter tracking, workflow
templates, live reporting, and client intake. Workflow templates let firms codify their processes into repeatable task sequences that can be loaded onto matters. Reporting pulls from live data without manual preparation.
Hivelight integrates with practice management systems including Clio, Actionstep, Smokeball, and Dye & Durham Unity. It also connects with SmarterDrafter, RealAML, Zapier, Microsoft Power Automate, and has an Outlook Add-In for converting emails into tasks.
