Halladay’s is an engineering design consultancy that provides research, development and detailed design services for downhole oil, gas and geothermal instrumentation. The company focuses on mechanical and hydraulic engineering for extreme environments, including high-temperature and high-pressure wells. Its capabilities include finite element
analysis, 3D CAD design, dynamics analysis, seal and materials engineering, hydraulics, optics and fibre-optic packaging, and custom heat shield and vacuum flask design. Halladay’s supports clients with feasibility studies, design reviews, R&D, detailed designs and manufacturing drawings, and coordinates manufacturing to ISO 9001 expectations through partners. The company also develops and supports production logging tools, seismic receiver arrays, cameras, cableheads and related downhole hardware. In addition to consulting services, Halladay’s manufactures and sells the Easy~Winch yacht winch load-reducing mechanism as a legacy product line.
