Haisem develops Distil, an AI-powered bookkeeping and accounting platform for UK sole traders, small businesses, and accounting practices. Distil processes invoices, receipts, and bank statements using OCR and AI models trained on UK documents to extract financial data, assign VAT and nominal codes, and prepare records for publishing into Xero and
QuickBooks Online. The platform supports sales invoicing with payment tracking, real-time profit and loss, cash flow and balance sheet reporting, and mileage tracking at HMRC rates. It is designed to handle MTD VAT submissions directly to HMRC and to support forthcoming MTD Income Tax (ITSA) filing. Distil also provides client upload links, bank reconciliation tools, and long-term HMRC-compliant document storage.
