Hacker Care is a members based organization founded by hackers for hackers! We are working hard to find solutions for the tech community, such as affordable, transparent and navigated health care coverage. Hacker Care offers health care coverage as well as dozens of other member benefits. It is our mission to be a powerful and supportive resource
for our community.
We have big plans for HackerCare. It is our mission to provide the hacker and the startup community with awesome member benefits including access to health care coverage. We plan on hacking plans to keep costs low, but offer added on services to give you premium coverage.
Our first step is to get people enrolled because we believe there is power in numbers. This is a community effort to band together to provide much needed resources to make our lives much easier.
Our next step is to raise 75k to for a co-op shared deductible pool. This would enable us to cover 80% of your deductible costs.
We also plan on continuing to grow our member benefits and perks program so you can run super lean using these discounted services. If you have a startup or a company that you think would be an asset to our community and want to offer a perk, please contact us!
Our big pie in the sky plan is to build a membership base of a couple thousand or more, so we can raise 25+ million to underwrite our own insurance. This is when we can really get creative and provide a health insurance program that caters to our hacker community.
