GEPP is the only beverage company in Mexico with nationwide operations and full capabilities in manufacturing, distribution and marketing. The company produces, sells and distributes carbonated and non-carbonated soft drinks as well as water jugs in bulk sizes. GEPP is the exclusive bottler of PepsiCo trademark beverages in Mexico, and also
develops and markets its own beverage brands and distributes third-party brands.
GEPP produces, sells and distributes world-renowned PepsiCo brands of carbonated and non-carbonated soft drinks, such as Pepsi Cola, Pepsi Light, 7Up, Lipton, Mirinda and Gatorade. GEPP also produces and owns local brands of carbonated, non-carbonated beverages and water jugs, such as Trisoda, Epura, Electropura, Santorini, Spin and Junghanns. In certain markets, GEPP sells third-party brands, such as juices under the Jumex Fresh brand and soft drinks under the Squirt, Canada Dry and Jarritos brands.
As of September 30, 2012, GEPP had 112 production lines in 44 production and bottling facilities, including 72 soft drink production lines, with 64 lines dedicated to non-returnable bottles and 7 lines dedicated to returnable bottles, and 40 water jugs production lines. GEPP’s soft drink production lines and its water jugs production lines have an aggregate annual production capacity of approximately 1,597.4 million eight-ounce cases and approximately 905.7 million eight-ounce cases, respectively.
