Founded in 2010 in Iceland, the company initially developed, launched and sold public cloud computing services known commonly as infrastructure-as-a-service (IaaS), powered by data centers using 100% renewable energy in Iceland. In 2014 it pivoted to focus solely on Qstack development drawing from its immense experience from running a public cloud for 4+ years with thousands of users from over 80 countries and key components development for open source projects like Apache Cloudstack.
