Green Feather Foundation is a multi-platform non-profit that uses puppetry, film, and arts-based education to promote ecological awareness and connection to nature. The organization encompasses programs such as IBEX Puppetry, Handmade Puppet Dreams, Puppet Slam Network, and educational and philanthropic works created by founder Heather Henson. It
develops and produces immersive theatrical experiences, live puppet performances, and community workshops that explore environmental themes and relationships between people and the land. Green Feather Foundation curates and distributes independent puppet films, supports short-form puppet performance presenters, and organizes community art labs and craft-based sessions. It also runs participatory programs like Nature Makers, health and food-focused education weeks, and site-specific parades and events that engage local communities.
