Gobopass is a service that provides its audience with high quality movies, ongoing benefits, and the freedom of sharing- while simultaneously protecting the rights of filmmakers/studios and enforcing standard business rules.
When you purchase or rent a movie with Gobopass, you download the actual movie file (in other words: there are
absolutely no buffering or low-quality streams to deal with). You can share that file with a friend, copy it to a disk on key, or do pretty much whatever you want with it really. Of course, when technical improvements are made due to standard industry practices or their own developments, you can download the upgraded files free of charge.
Once you purchase a movie, you use their app to play it. The owner can share their pass with another person, but only one of them can watch the movie at the same time. It's kind of like buying a physical media such as a Blu-Ray disc, and having the ability to loan it out. You own it, and you can share it with whomever you want, but only one person can watch at a time.
