UK Seabed Resources (UKSR), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Glomar Minerals, holds two exploration contracts for mineral-rich polymetallic nodules in the Clarion Clipperton Zone of the Pacific Ocean. These contracts are regulated by the International Seabed Authority (ISA) and sponsored by the UK Department for Business and Trade.
Glomar Minerals was founded in 2025 and acquired UKSR the same year. Glomar Minerals stands on the shoulder of the work done by the previous owners of UKSR—Lockheed Martin and Loke Marine Minerals.
