At Globeshifts oil & gas companies compete for the best oilfield and oil & gas candidates through weekly "auctions" or recruitment events. Employers get access to vetted candidates (less than 10% of all applicants make the cut). Candidates get 5-15 upfront offers during the week-long campaign from the best employers. They provide
transparency and a positive emotional charge where currently there is none.
TECHNOLOGY
The MVP is PHP and the final product will be developed in Ruby. In the future they will employ machine learning, data analysis and other technology to better match candidates with employers, suggest salary ranges automatically and assist in matching availability. Growthhacking and marketing automation will also be employed.
Technology isn't a key differential in their product. The product will be well built to function properly across platforms and have a high UX factor because of their target marketplace.
