Apart from the implementation of R+D works and developing new projects related to different animal species, the company has been providing the above-mentioned services on the local market for a year. Moreover, it has initiated the services commercialisation process in other CEE countries.

Further development

Apart from developing the technology allowing the identification of healthy or deceased wild boars (ASF), the company sees great potential in creating a technology for the purpose of estimating damage caused by migrating birds in agriculture and recognises substantial demand for the service abroad. The process involves supplying bases with properly prepared material referring to the species characteristic of a given region. In 2022, a SaaS model allowing worldwide scaling will be developed.

Sustainability

GIGACO is in line with the main trend of developing technologies within sustainable nature management, including the protection of human and animal health and the reduction of on-demand wild game hunting.

Clients

The main clients of the company today are the National Forests, for which the company renders the services of ASF animals identification and creating the inventory of ungulates. The company is in possession of the letters of intent and has started creating the ASF animals inventory following the season – i.e. January 2020.

Other company’s clients are: veterinary services, private forest owners, Polish hunting clubs and similar institutions abroad (talks in progress).
