Company Performance Metrics
RFID Technology Ltd, trading as Gesaky Interactive, was established in April 2011 by Alan Kearney to commercialise its new product, the Gesaky Interactive Mirror.
This mirror combines multiple types of technologies working together, including RFID, facial recognition, TV/mirror technology, remote access communication and database building.
The Gesaky Interactive Mirror is targeting a niche market in the fashion sector. The mirror is primarily used by retailers as a tool to increase their turnover through cross sales and allows their customers a unique interactive shopping experience in store. The mirror will also determine the customer demographics within the retail store and use all the data collected to produce daily retail analytics for the store.
This data is then used by the stores for product launches and social media campaigns. The mirror is designed to interactively display all images of the clothes worn by a customer and to produce real images of the recommended accessories that can be worn with that piece of clothing.
The mirror was showcased at the London Olympics in 2012 and was launched in Arnotts, Ireland's largest department store, in October 2012. The company is currently working with a number of companies internationally to roll-out the Gesaky Interactive Mirror.
