s involves a combination of qualitative and quantitative analyses. We identify a universe of approximately 60 companies that are leaders in their markets, distributed over a range of selected countries and sectors, which are highly profitable, have a history of good returns to stockholders, and models that are difficult to replicate. According to our quantitative models and long-term view, we search for companies that are trading at or below their intrinsic value and which we can thus appraise as having significant upside potential with lower risk.

By covering a lower number of companies, each analyst is able to dedicate a longer time per investment, increasing the time for interactions with these companies, and as a result achieving greater depth in the qualitative questions. The result of this process is a portfolio concentrated in a small number of companies, between 20 and 25, with only long positions, and without a need for the fund to be 100% invested at any time.
