GeneArt was awarded the worldwide largest gene synthesis contract for the completion of the „Mammalian Gene Collection (MGC) Program“ by the U.S. National Institutes of Health (NIH). In addition, GeneArt produced subgenomic elements for the construction of the first syntheticbacterial genome by the J. Craig Venter Institute.
