Geeksphone is a Spanish start-up company and producer of smartphones.
Founded in early 2009 by 16-yo Javier Agüera and former musician Rodrigo Silva-Ramos, and established by October that year, it became the first European brand to launch an Android smartphone to the market (Geeksphone One) and the only Spanish smartphone OEM to that date. Later on, it pioneered the mobile industry by launching the first Firefox OS Developer Preview devices.
