Franklin Academy is one of the most sought after k-12 charter schools in North Carolina. Known for its excellent academics, Franklin Academy focuses on the Future Ready Course of Study, helping ensure that its students are prepared for higher education.
While there is a long wait list for Franklin Academy, general admissions are based on a blind
lottery that is held following the application deadline for each enrollment period. Applications are accepted between December 1st and January 31st of each school year and siblings of current students will receive priority through a separate drawing.
In order to be eligible for the lottery and gain admission to Franklin Academy, students need only to be five years of age or older and residents of North Carolina.
Franklin believes learning should happen outside the classroom as well as in, therefore college life on campus is thriving with extracurricular activities with which students can get involved.
As tuition at Franklin Academy is free, this school does not offer a financial aid option to parents.
