Students have a number of co-curricular development opportunities on campus, such as joining one of the school’s many sororities or fraternities, becoming a
part of the Student Government Association, or spending some time in the Fisk memorial chapel.

Online applications are available at the Fisk website. Admissions require students to submit an essay addressing one of a selection of topics, such as civic responsibility, how a Fisk alumnus has influenced your life, or the inspirational or insulting nature of rap lyrics. ACT and SAT scores are also required for incoming freshmen.
Financial aid is available to eligible students through Pell grants, work-study programs, student loans, and more.
