Finplex is a full-stack lending infrastructure company that has built an end-to-end proprietary technology platform to originate, underwrite, and service prime retail and SME loans across India. Founded in 2019, the Company operates at the intersection of institutional-grade credit risk management and modern fintech infrastructure, connecting
creditworthy small businesses and homebuyers with India's largest banks. At its core, Finplex's competitive advantage is its distributed origination platform. The platform integrates real-time data from multiple credit bureaus (CIBIL, CRIF Highmark, Experian), bank statement analysers, GST verification systems, and proprietary alternative data sources to deliver a 360-degree credit assessment within 24 hours — a process that typically takes traditional lenders weeks. AI/ML-driven credit decisioning models enable granular borrower profiling, improving both approval accuracy and portfolio quality while significantly reducing manual intervention. The platform's digitised loan lifecycle — from onboarding and e-KYC through disbursement, repayment (via NACH), and collections — eliminates paper-based friction and creates operational leverage that scales without proportional cost increases. This technology layer sits atop a multi-product origination engine spanning unsecured MSME loans, secured SME lending (loan against property), and affordable home loans. The platform is designed to be lender-agnostic: it currently serves as the origination and servicing backbone for large private banks and NBFCs, handling customer acquisition, credit assessment, documentation, and post-disbursement portfolio monitoring. In effect, Finplex provides these institutions with a turnkey retail lending capability — sourcing, underwriting, and servicing portfolios to their credit standards — without those banks needing to build the ground-level infrastructure themselves.
