Company Performance Metrics
Mission
To enable 1 million couples to reach their fertility goals and earn a revenue of $13 million by 2025.
Problem
33 million couples in India and 88 million couples globally struggle with infertility during their preconception journey.
Despite the technological intervention, the top three problems of the fertility market are:
1)Declining
fertility rates across the globe - Due to lifestyle issues, rising conditions like PCOS & male infertility and, late conception planning
Due to social stigma & taboo couples don’t self-identify as undergoing infertility leading to feeling alone, mismanaging or delaying treatment, taking ill-informed decisions often escalating the problem.
2) Increasing cost of treatment - ZERO insurance, out-of-pocket expenditure of $5000+ and loss of jobs for women(1/3rd of women going through fertility treatments consider quitting jobs)
The journey of infertility is extremely stressful leading to desperate couples wasting time & money trying to figure out the fragmented treatment landscape without any framework or support. There are often too many symptoms and diagnosing infertility in the right manner takes much longer. Infertility treatment in India is an expensive out-of-pocket expenditure.
3) Confusing, Chaotic & Complex process - Unsupported emotions, multiple clinics, unstructured management, physically invasive where average failure rate of treatment is 60%
Solution

Fertility Dost’s subscription-based program takes the medical history of a patient to better understand symptoms and any existing reports. About 60% to 70% of the patients that Fertility Dost has worked with so far are pre-diagnosed with infertility and are looking for a solution, so we start to pick apart potential risk factors and suggest a holistic treatment plan. We have a team of specialists, from clinical nutritionists to psychologists and gynecologists, who on a contractual basis to approve any plan given to a patient. We have employed a number of fertility care managers, who is basically an employee in charge of handholding the patient through these plans.
