Ferrologix was launched as a startup from the University of California Los Angeles emerging from professor Dino Di Carlo's lab in the department of bioengineering. It has a unique magnetic-based instrument and disposable cartridge that can transport, filter, and organize single cells for precision analysis or therapeutic manufacture.
