The group believes in enforcement of existing laws to prevent anticompetitive behavior that harms consumers.
FairSearch.org follows
two principles: transparency and innovation. Transparency is based on consumers benefitting from more choices in the search marketplace, innovating to improve products, and displaying results transparently. Innovation is based on consumers benefitting when competition in the marketplace forces companies to continue to innovate and develop the best solutions for online search. It believes that policymakers must act in real time to protect competition, transparency, and innovation in online search.
