Landacorp, Inc. was founded in 1980 and incorporated in 1982. In 1984, the firm was reoriented to focus exclusively on medical management information software. In February 2000, Landacorp successfully completed its initial public offering and in October 2000, the company acquired two leading population health management companies: ProMedex and PatientCentrix.
In April 2004, Landacorp was acquired by SHPS, Inc., an integrated health and benefits management provider headquartered in Louisville, KY, and returned to a privately held corporation. In October 2012, Landacorp was acquired by ExlService Holdings, Inc. (EXL) and was renamed EXL Landa.
