EVSX develops and operates multi-chemistry battery processing facilities that recover critical minerals and other materials from end-of-life batteries. The company processes household, commercial and electric vehicle batteries, producing black mass containing lithium, nickel, cobalt, graphite and other elements. Its Thorold, Ontario facility
focuses on shredding, sorting and recovering metals such as aluminium, steel, copper and battery materials for return into the supply chain. EVSX also generates value-added by-products including fertilizers, lithium hydroxide, carbon briquettes and alumina. The company works with battery collection partners under multi-year supply agreements and holds regulatory permits for its operations. EVSX positions its modular facilities as part of closed-loop battery recycling and urban mining solutions.
