eQuorum has focused on solving complex document management problems for hundreds of organizations in the manufacturing, engineering, utilities and AECO (Architectural, Engineering, Construction and Owner) arenas where customers seek to better organize documents, save time, and enhance collaboration.
The privately-held company was spun out of Byers
Engineering Company (as CADNET Corporation) in 1996 after operating as an independent profit center since 1987. Byers Engineering Company (www.byers.com), founded in 1971, is a large engineering firm with approximately 1,200 employees. eQuorum and Byers Engineering have common ownership, with Ken Byers serving as Chairman of eQuorum’s Board of Directors. The company’s name was changed to eQuorum Corporation in 1999 after a merger with Virginia-based Image Machines Corporation. CADNET was well-known for its productivity-boosting wide format printing solutions, and Image Machines was recognized for its document management, and fast editing and imaging solutions.
By leveraging the integrated products from both companies, customers have greater control and flexibility over the management, collaboration, distribution, and printing of their business documents, including complex images and large format engineering drawings. Organizations that rely on engineering content need a better way to securely and simply manage documents. That’s why they turn to eQuorum’s comprehensive, yet easy-to-use solutions to manage their data - from design to manufacturing to production.
