Enexis is a Dutch regional network operator that distributes energy from energy suppliers to households and business enterprises. The organization manages the energy network in the North, South, and East of the Netherlands.
Consumers and businesses can send their meter readings to their network operator once a year; and receive a meter card from
Enexis or let one of its meter readers come out to read their meter. Enexis will then pass on those meter readings to the relevant suppliers who calculate the costs of gas and electricity consumption. If customers disagree with the amount they have been charged based on the meter readings, they can contact their energy suppliers.
Enexis’ smart meter is an electricity and gas meter that can be read remotely.
Enexis was founded in 2009 and is based in Noord-Brabant, Netherlands.
