Endicott College in Beverly, Massachusetts boasts one of the most unique
academic programs of any four-year college in the nation.
Designed to blend academics with practical career skills, all of
Endicott’s undergraduate degrees incorporate classroom study and
internship assignments. A certain number of internship hours are required
each
semester from students and are completed in one’s area of study. For
example, an education major would intern in an educational setting
whereas an arts major would do his or her internship at an arts
organization.
Endicott’s academics encompass eight schools, among them the schools of
arts and sciences, business, the college of education, sport science and
fitness studies and visual and performing arts.
Another highly innovative program at Endicott is “Keys to Degrees.”
Specifically intended for young, single parents, this program helps those
in this particularly challenging situation to earn their degree.
Student life offers a cross-section of athletic, social, creative and
religious opportunities. An interfaith chapel on campus gives students of
all religious background the chance to worship. Student organizations and
clubs range from a sailing club to a drama club to clubs for
biotechnology, nursing, psychology, history and math majors.
Admissions requirements include a high school diploma or GED, test scores
and submission of an essay and a recommendation letter.
Tuition assistance is available through the financial aid department and
may include loans, grants and other sources.
